
I took a short drive around the town of El Paso and saw some hidden gems, such as this library, which almost looks like a fortress of knowledge.

The house above has been immaculately restored, and sits across the street from the Elms Restaurant. The house below is just as majestic, but it could use a little paint and some repairs.

It wouldn’t be a Midwestern small town without a church that is a mix of Gothic and Romanesque Revival styles, and this church elegantly represents.

This house much have received a front addition at some point, because the two Renaissance revival dormers are sort of awkward otherwise.
